Handed out the assessment task for the Batman unit of work today. Broke down the marking rubric and discussed the basics of intertextuality in the context of film and graphic novels. Students will watch a Batman film on Thursday and then read two graphic novels, The Killing Joke and Batman:Earth One next week and analyse their intertextuality.
