Today we looked at some very different related material that focused on the idea that perception of reality is just as important as reality itself. People who make discoveries tend to look at the world in a different way to everyone else. An innate sense of curiosity or simply being able to think outside the square can lead to intense and meaningful discoveries.
One of the texts we looked at was the poem War Photographer by Carol Ann Duffy. This poem could easily be about Hurley himself. It can be found here.
