Students watched a section of Forrest Gump taking in the time from when he meets and inspires Elvis through to his College Football years. This was related back to the rubric by using the Rubric Worksheet handed out in class.
The clip contains a number of elements of discovery and also invites the audience to make discoveries through their emotional reactions.
