As an introduction to the non-fiction genre the students watched the Australian Story episode on Wayne Bennett. The film includes all the standard documentary techniques including voice over, montage, expert opinion and multiple interviews. There is also a sub-narrative running through the film as well in which we see the start of the 1999 NRL season.
